PET PORTRAIT COMMISSIONS - How to get YOURS!

Would you like your pet to be part of the Animals of Adventure universe?

Your dog or cat (or chimpanzee, cockatoo, ferret, pet alligator...you name it!) can be immortalized as a character in Dogs of War or one of my other Animals of Adventure series!

I have limited spaces open for this unique commission opportunity. Contact me via email at mike@mikeyzart.com with your request. I will provide you with complete instructions via email, and answer any questions you have before we begin.

Here's how it works:

• You place the order with a 50% non-refundable deposit.

• You provide me with photos of your pet. 2-3 is good; 5-10 is better.

• You provide the details:

  • Let me know of distinguishing markings, characteristic behaviors, a floppy ear, cropped tail, etc.

  • Choose the era (WW2, US Civil War, Napoleonic, etc)

  • Pick a branch of service (Army, Navy Air Force, Marines, Special Ops, Commando, etc.)

  • Pick your pet’s role (Infantry, Pilot, Motorcycle Messenger, Roman Centurion, etc.)

  • I am more than happy to offer suggestions and ideas.

• I provide 2-3 concept sketches to choose from

• You pick one sketch

• I work up a preliminary drawing – scan and send for review

• You review and send final adjustments or requests

• I make the final revisions, finish and scan the art

• You send Final Payment

• I ship the original art to you

Your lucky pet will be added as a distinguished character in the ever-expanding Animals of Adventure series! This includes prints and collections such as books, calendars, etc.
